Grant County Sheriff’s Office is offering higher pay for new hires

EPHRATA – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is offering higher pay. The Sheriff’s Office says Grant County Commissioners and the Teamsters Local 760 labor union reached an agreement Thursday to boost the starting pay for new corrections deputies by roughly 67%. A newbie will now earn $64,147 annually. Prior to the new agreement, newly hired corrections officers were making around $43,000.
