MATTAWA – The cost of a makeover at the Port of Mattawa’s Event Center will be covered in the upcoming state budget. State representatives have set aside $361,000 for event center infrastructure improvements in to accommodate the population boom in the southern Grant County area, officials said, and to increase tourism, which will in turn boost the local economy.
