Trapped snowboarder rescued on Snoqualmie Pass after falling 100 ft.

SNOQUALMIE – A snowboarder had to be rescued on Snoqualmie Pass after he fell 100 ft., and became trapped on the mountain. King County Sheriff’s officials say Andrew Eckles reportedly suffered from a broken hip and deputies had to perform a hoist operation in order to lift Eckles into the aircraft. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. As of Monday, Eckles is listed in satisfactory condition.
