Motorcyclist injured after falling asleep and crashing in Grant County

VERNITA – A motorcyclist was injured after falling asleep and crashing in Grant County this week. A Washington State Patrol trooper tells iFIBER ONE News that an Oregon man traveling along SR 24 near the Vernita Bridge early Tuesday fell asleep, then skidded at least 300 feet into a fence, before the bike rolled, ejecting the rider. He was reportedly hospitalized for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
