SNOQUALMIE PASS – Commuters traveling over Cascade mountain passes are being warned after heavy snow and strong winds are forecast to make for treacherous road conditions beginning Tuesday morning. A winter weather advisory is in effect through Wednesday morning for the Cascades, which could see up to 18 inches of new snow and up to 50 mph winds, likely leading to blowing snow and reduced visibility.
