Big crowd gathered to bid farewell to Boeing’s final 747 jumbo jet

SEATTLE (AP) – A big crowd gathered to bid farewell to Boeing’s final 747 jumbo jet Tuesday. That exact plane spent some time in Moses Lake last month for flight testing at the Grant County International Airport. The final plane is the 1,574th built by Boeing in Washington state. Delta was the last U.S. airline to use the 747 for passenger flights, which ended in 2017.
