WENATCHEE – Chelan County will host an annual Homeless Point in Time Count this month. The count will be conducted on Jan. 26, at the YWCA on First Street in Wenatchee to help remedy the growing need for affordable housing. Surveys will also be conducted throughout Chelan and Douglas counties, with staff speaking to people on the street and providing resources, including backpacks, gloves, socks, hand warmers, food and more, to those in need.
