BLEWETT PASS – Icy roadways was cited as a contributing factor in a fatal two car crash on US 97 north of Blewett Pass Wednesday morning. Police said, Donaciano Servin Marquez, 46, of Chelan, lost control of his pickup truck causing the vehicle to slide into a semi-truck. His passenger, 22-year-old Donaciano Servin, died at the scene. Marquez and a second passenger in the pickup truck, a 61-year-old Chelan woman were hurt and taken to the hospital. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. The state patrol continues to investigate.
