An arctic front is expected to bring dangerously cold temps to the area on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say this week’s freezing air mass is rare for Washington. Temperatures will fall to record lows in Moses Lake, Quincy, Wenatchee, Omak, Winthrop, Othello, Ellensburg, and Ephrata. Temperatures will return to normal for this time of year by Christmas.
