WENATCHEE – The Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort is opening earlier than usual, just in time for the holiday season. The ski area will open on Saturday, Nov. 19, its earliest opening in five years. Staff with Mission Ridge say the early opening was, in part, due to a recent dousing of snow, but it was also made possible by the resort’s snow-making machines.
