Icy roadways were expected to greet early Tuesday morning commuters in Grant, Douglas and Chelan counties due to widespread freezing rain. The National Weather Service expected about a quarter inch of ice build up over Stevens and Snoqualmie passes. In the lowlands across Chelan, Douglas and Grant counties, less than an inch of snow is expected to accumulate during the day and into Tuesday night, with temperatures expected to be in the low 30’s.
