The city of Leavenworth is illuminated for Christmas like few others in America, according to U.S. News. Last month, the national publication ranked the Bavarian-themed tourist trap as being among the best for Christmas lights displays in the U.S.. Leavenworth will soon hold its multi-weekend event known as ‘Village of Lights.’ The annual event displays over a half-million lights every December.
