RITZVILLE – Troopers say fatigue caused a semi crash on US 395 that sent the Florida driver to the hospital on Saturday. State patrol officials say the 44-year-old fell asleep behind the wheel on I-90 east of Ritzville and drifted into the median causing his rig to flip over and slide 50 feet blocking both lanes in the emergency turnaround. The state patrol confirms that the driver was not intoxicated at the time of the wreck. He was cited with 2nd-degree negligent driving.
