A protester who ran onto the field during the San Francisco 49ers’ Monday night home game has filed a police report after being subdued by Los Angeles linebacker Bobby Wagner. The Santa Clara Police Department confirmed to The Associated Press Wednesday that they are investigating the incident, in which Wagner tackled the protester who ran across the field waving a device emitting pink smoke shortly before halftime at Levi’s Stadium. Teammate Takk McKinley also helped grab the perpatrator, who had eluded security, while another protester was caught. The video of the incident has gone viral.
