OTHELLO – A 28 year old Othello man accused of sexually abusing his girlfriend’s 3-year-old child in February is now behind bars. Adams County deputies arrested Edgar Fermin Sales-Andres Monday and he was booked into jail for first-degree rape of a child, stemming from an investigation after the toddler was taken to a local clinic and hospital staff alerted police, according to the sheriff’s office. The child’s mother was also detained by police.
