Family of Western Washington University student killed at Houston concert settles wrongful death suit

HOUSTON (AP) – The family of a Western Washington University student who died during last year’s Astroworld music festival in Houston have settled a wrongful death lawsuit, according to attorneys. 21-year-old Axel Acosta of Tieton [tie a ten], Washington, lost his life during a massive crowd surge at the Nov. 5 Houston concert. Ten people were killed and hundreds of others injured. More than 500 lawsuits were filed after the deadly concert. The 10 people who died were among 50,000 who attended the festival.
