OTHELLO – A drive by shooting in Othello that claimed the life of a 16-year girl and critically injured another is suspected of being gang related. Othello police responded just before midnight Thursday to the intersection of Sylvan Drive and Rose Drive and found the teen driver of an SUV had been fatally shot and had crashed into an apartment building. Police say another 16-year-old girl in the SUV was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Othello police.
