Burglary suspect arrested after police stand off near Moses Lake identified

MOSES LAKE – The burglary suspect arrested after barricading himself inside the victim’s home near Moses Lake has been identified. Grant County deputies say, a police K9 sniffed out Roberto Robles Mejia, of Moses Lake, and an accomplise hiding in the attic of a residence they’d broken into on Adair Street in the Larson Housing community Thursday morning. The occupant of the home was awakened by the two men armed with knives, but was able to safely escape the home invaders. Larson Heights and North elementary schools and Endeavor Middle School were in lock down during the police activity.
