ROCK ISLAND – A body found Saturday floating face down in the Columbia River at Rock Island Dam has been identified as a missing Wenatchee man. The Chelan County Coroner identified the man as 32-year-old David M. Williams, a resident of Christopher House in Wenatchee. A missing person report was called in after Williams’ parents said they had not heard from their son for about 10 days. The coroner has ruled Williams’ death as a drowning. Police are working to determine how Williams ended up in the river.
