ELLENSBURG – A wanted Ellensburg man was apprehended after a brief police standoff at his residence on West Bender Road Tuesday. Police had been looking for the 38-year-old after an Aug. 26 incident where he allegedly burglarized his girlfriend’s home, and attacked at least one person at the Chestnut Street address. Formal charges are expected to be formally filed in the case.
