BASIN CITY – An Othello man is behind bars today after Franklin County deputies caught up with him on foot during a chase near Basin City early Tuesday morning. Franklin County Sheriff’s officials say deputies responded to a report of a vehicle prowl, after a woman reported items had been stolen from her car. Officers quickly located the suspect, identified as Adam Morfin of Othello, and after a brief foot pursuit the 28-year-old was arrested on multiple theft and obstruction charges, according to court records.
