Criminal justice instructor at Moses Lake school being hailed hero

MOSES LAKE – A criminal justice instructor at a Moses Lake school is being hailed a hero. On Tuesday retired Moses Lake police chief Dave Ruffin, a teacher at CB Tech, detained a gunman who had allegedly threatened two students in the parking lot sending the campus into lockdown, along with oother nearby schools. Ruffin located the suspect and held him until officers arrived. No one was hurt. The armed perpatrator was booked into the Grant County Jail.
