A 50-acre fire was reported Monday afternoon just east of the Potholes Reservoir. According to fire officials, the blaze in the Lind Coulee area was initially reported as a 50-acre fire at around 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
The blaze was burning grass and brush just north of SR 262. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
