A 46-year-old firefighter was treated at an area hospital for injuries sustained while battling a house fire on Canterbury Lane Monday night in Moses Lake. The Moses Lake Fire Department said all occupants of the single-family home, which was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived, were able to escape unharmed. The injured firefighter has since been released and is said to be recovering. The cause of the fire has been determined to be an open container of gasoline that was too close to an operating barbeque grill.
