Armed gunman arrested outside Gorge Amphitheatre no longer suspected of mass shooting

GEORGE – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office now says it does not feel that an armed man arrested outside the Gorge Amphitheatre intended to shoot up the place. While the investigation is not yet finished, sheriff’s office officials said that detectives have interviewed Jonathan Moody and have served search warrants on two vehicles, leading them to believe he did not intend to cause a mass shooting. The 31 year old pleaded not guilty Monday to weapons charges and was released from jail on $10,000 bail. Moody was arrested Friday night, after some concerned concert goers noticed him with two 9mm pistols, outside the Gorge venue gates.
