WENATCHEE – Two known gang members were arrested by the East Cascade SWAT Team in Wenatchee last week. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant was served on June 30 at a home on Methow Street in Wenatchee, a known gang hideout, and 24-year-old Jorge Verduzco Mendoza and his brother, 28-year-old Osvaldo Verduzco Mendoza were taken into custody and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center on felony warrants. Law enforcement confiscated handguns during the bust, including a stolen firearm from Ephrata. More charges are expected to be filed.
