Multiple pyrotechnics sparked fires over the Fourth of July holiday keep Wenatchee crews busy

Crews were busy battling multiple pyrotechnics sparked fires over the Fourth of July holiday. Firefighters put out three fires in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee on Sunday, with the first one involving kids who threw smoke bombs into a juniper tree, and just a few hours after that a fire was reported in the back yard of an East Wenatchee home where they were setting off fireworks. The third fire was reported underneath a bridge near the Apple Capital Loop Trail, where witnesses said people were setting off fireworks. The trio of back to back fires were quickly contained. No injuries were reported.
