BLEWETT PASS – Fatigue is being blamed for a rollover crash on Highway 97 Thursday afternoon near Blewett Pass. State troopers say, Michell Sampson reportedly fell asleep and drove off the highway, hitting a rock and rolling at least twice. The wreck partially blocked the northbound lanes of Highway 97 for about two hours. The 20-year-old Auburn resident was taken to Cascade Medical for his injuries. The state patrol cited the man for second-degree negligent driving and driving without a license.
