LOOMIS – After a failed attempt last week, law enforcement successfully apprehended a fugitive in Loomis Thursday. Authorities tried to arrest Jason Kortelever May 24, but a landslide was blocking access to his residence. Okananogan County Sheriff’s officials then obtained a nationwide arrest warrant and with the assistance of more than a half dozen other law enforcement agencies 48-year-old was taken into custody at a Loomis, WA home after a brief standoff. He was booked into Okanogan County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bail.
