OLYMPIA – In light of the mass shooting at a Texas elementary school Tuesday, the Washington State Schools Superintendent called on Washingtonians to get rid of guns in their homes. A gunman shot and killed more than a dozen kids and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvdale, Texas. Superintentendt Reykdal [rake doll] appeared unwavering in his assertion that removing guns from the home makes it a safer place, during a conference, in which Reykdal concluded by asking the public to join him in considering the personal choice of not keeping a firearm in the home.
