OKANOGAN – A creative towing solution resulted in a U-Haul customers being cited for thinking outside the box, or in this case the ‘truck.’ State Troopers say they pulled over a U-Haul Monday on SR 97 near Okanogan that had an SUV in dangling out the back of the U-Haul. The driver was cited for not using safety chains to tow the SUV and was ticketed $139. It was also discovered that the U-Haul was long overdue and was about to be reported stolen. Both vehicles were impounded.
