BEVERLY – A collision between two semi’s on state Route 26 north of Beverly hauling onions and potatoes sent one person to the hospital early Monday morning. Victor G. Garza, 70, of Othello, reportedly struck the potato truck as he attempted to pass the semi, causing both vehicles to skid off the road. Garza was injured. The other driver was not hurt. The state patrol continues to investigate the wreck.
