SOAP LAKE – Two people found sleeping inside a stolen truck in Soap Lake were taken into custody. Soap Lake police located the vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Grand Coulee, Saturday morning at a home on Road B.5 Northeast, and the driver, identified as Raymond Atchison Jr., was arrested and booked into Grant County Jail for theft and possession of meth. The passenger in the truck was released, after police say she had misdemeanor warrant but could not be booked into jail due to restrictions. The stolen pickup was recovered by the owner.
