The Bureau of Reclamation will begin irrigation operations at Potholes Reservoir and the O’Sullivan Dam on Feb. 28, and on the Banks Lake and Dry Falls Dam on March 3, in preparation for the 2022 season. The Potholes Reservoir is part of the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project and is formed by the O’Sullivan Dam. The reservoir is fed by water from Moses Lake. Ice anglers on Banks Lake and Potholes Reservoir are being warned that operational fill and spill activities may compromise ice conditions.
