ROSYLN – Heavy snow crushed a building in Roslyn’s historic district this week. The building, that once housed Harper Lumber and Hardware, partially collapsed and was brought down with an excavator on Wednesday. No injuries were reported. Many of the buildings in Roslyn’s historic district were built in the late 1800’s, making it challenging to withstand the weight of snow accumulations.
