EPHRATA – Grant County is ramping up their ‘war on drugs’ efforts. Grant County announced Tuesday that they have been awarded a more than $300,000 grant from the Department of Justice to implement an Adult Drug Court Program, aimed at diverting non-violent felony offenders with substance use and mental health issues from incarceration into a supervised treatment program. Grant County officials anticipate the program will begin later this year.
