Moses Lake man accepted plea deal in 2019 crime spree involving bomb

MOSES LAKE – A Moses Lake man has accepted a plea deal in a 2019 crime spree involving homemade explosives. Timothy Riggins is accused of robbing a woman, and threatening to “blow her up” with a bomb, before then stealing her car. He was located shortly after hiding inside a washing machine at a nearby home of an acquaintence, according to police. Riggins faces up to seven years in federal prison when he’s sentenced Feb. 2.
