I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass back open, but drivers warned to be cautious

UPDATE (12:45 p.m.) – Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass is back open in both directions. WSDOT says chains are required on all vehicles except all-wheel drive. Interstate 90 closed over Snoqualmie Pass after blowing snow caused by strong winds created near zero visibility driving conditions. Snoqualmie Pass, which is what I-90 runs over, saw more than 9 inches (23 centimeters) of new snow Thursday, according to the state transportation department.
