An Othello man is facing charges after a one car rollover crash Friday on State Route 24. Police say alcohol was determined to have played a role when 26-year-old Victor Pineda apparently lost control of the vehicle, skidded off the road and overturned, landing on its top. While one passenger was treated for minor injuries, the other passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Scared Heart Medical Center with serious wounds. Pindea was not injured in the crash. He has been charged with Vehicular Assault pending a toxicology report.
