2021 was recorded as having the hottest temperatures of all time

2021 was recorded as having the hottest temperatures of all time spurred by the heat wave in late-June, early-July. That’s according to the National Weather Service office in Spokane which released a ‘year in review’ report on Monday. Meteorologists reported record breaking triple digit temps between June 25 and July 4 in Ephrata, Wenatchee and Omak. As for the cold snap we’re experiencing this week, local forecasters say “it’s been really cold,” but the weather isn’t record-breaking.
