Grant PUD working to prevent outages like the one this summer that left thousands in the dark

EPHRTA – Grant PUD is working to ensure another outage like the one this summer that left thousands in the dark, doesn’t happen again. The July 31 outage knocked out power to more than 9,000 customers, and
during Grant PUD’s regularly scheduled meeting this week, [Nov. 9], officials said the utility will continually focus on measures to prevent an outage of that magnitude in the future.
