MOSES LAKE – Local farmers were quick to come to the rescue after a truck spilled a large amount of corn kernels in the intersection of Grape Drive and state Route 17 . According to David Bren, municipal services director for the city of Moses Lake, when public works employees arrived, local chicken farmers were already there to help clean up the mess. No injuries were reported.
