Ephrata drug sting netted police one arrest, multiple illicit drugs

EPHRATA – An undercover raid at an Ephrata [ee-FRAY-t?] home early Monday morning netted police one arrest and multiple illicit drugs. Officers found about 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, a half-pound of heroin and 33 grams of cocaine during the search of a residence on Basin St. SW, according to the sheriff’s office. A vehicle, believed to have been used to transport narcotics, was also seized. Samuel R. Mota-Mesa, 41, was arrested on drug trarfficking charges and remained in the Grant County Jail. The Columbia River Drug Task Force continues to investigate.
