Grim Outlook For WA Restaurants

By this time next year more than 4 in 10 Washington State restaurants will be permanently closed. That’s according to the Washington Hospitality Association which reports more than 2,000 restaurants have closed since the start of COVID-19. 25 of those are in Grant County while 6 have closed in Adams County. Most of those are independently owned. Association officials say they are hoping for more federal support to restaurant owners.
