The Grant County Health District reported 34 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday but officials say that is an underestimate of 30 to 40 cases that didn’t make it into the database because of investigations taking priority. The new cases are residents of Coulee City, Ephrata, Mattawa, Moses Lake, Quincy, Royal City, Soap Lake and Warden. Confirmed virus deaths remain at 54 with 18 additional deaths — up one from Tuesday — pending death certificate review.
