A partnership between the Columbia Basin Foundation Microsoft, and the McKay Foundation will make it easier for long-term care seniors at McKay Healthcare and Rehab Center to get transportation. The parnership reached its $50,000 goal to purchase a shuttle bus after donors including Northwest Farm Credit Services, and Confluence Health contributed half of that amount while Microsoft matched that donation. The new bus will allow McKay’s residents to be transported to medical appointments, field trips, and other destinations.
