Gov. Jay Inslee implements a cap on fees charged to restaurants by third-party delivery platforms like DoorDash and GrubHub. The executive order which takes effect this Wednesday limits delivery fees at 15% and total fees at 18% of the purchase price of an order. Several cities have already imposed similar limits. Inslee says he encourages Washingtonians to support their local restaurants safely through delivery and take-out options that are available.
