Grab A Thermometer

The Grant County Health District is reminding Thanksgiving chefs to be sure and have a functioning probe thermometer on hand when roasting the turkey to make sure it’s at a safe temperature to eat. Experts say it needs to be at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the thickest part of the breast,. the innermost part of the wing or the innermost part of the thigh. Also make sure the stuffing reaches 165 degrees.
