The 2020 general election turnout will not be one for the record books but it was very close. The Secretary of State’s office reports an 84.1% turnout compared to the record-setting 84.6% in 2008. Grant County’s return rate was close to 80% while in Adams County around 77% sent in their ballots. The election results will be certified next Tuesday which is 2 days earlier than the deadline.
