Election Record Nearing A Record

Washington State’s 2020 election turnout is inching closer to topping the record set in 2008. The secretary of state’s office reports nearly 4.14 million ballots were cast out of close to 4.9 million registered voters. It’s the first election where total returned ballots exceeded 4 million. Grant County’s turnout is nearly 73% while Adams County’s response is close to 67%. Election results are to be certified by Dec. 3.
